Without being flippant, it appears from the video that the robot lost power. His leg gave way and he just collapsed. Maybe he should have kept his head forward so he could see where he was going. He was going pretty well until he fell. There must be incredible processing going on. It almost made me believe he wasn't a robot. I felt pity for him, actually.
